Job Description
At Emporia, hardware products are the tip of the spear -- attracting customers, fueling data analytics, and enabling demand response through integration with Emporia’s energy management platform. We provide our customers with reliable, high-value-add products at mainstream pricing.
The Operations Program Manager (OPM) at Emporia is responsible for the operational management and support of all hardware products, both in development and sustaining. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines inside and outside of Emporia to ensure supply continuity, implement quality control plans and perform regular audits, and optimize production against projected sales demands.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface between Emporia and OEMs to ensure supply chain continuity, quality control, and execution against development and production timelines
- Drive production to meet Emporia’s sales forecasts
- Work cross-functionally to ensure programs smoothly transition from development to mass production
- Work closely with Emporia teams (Engineering, Customer Support) and manufacturing partners to evaluate and mitigate quality risks through an established Product Quality Plan
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years industry experience as a project manager or similar role in product manufacturing operations
- Multiple examples of leading projects into mass production and through EOL, including extensive on-site factory experience with overseas and domestic contract manufacturers
- Experience with supply chain management, including pricing negotiations at all levels of the Bill of Materials
- Experience defining, implementing, and auditing quality control processes with manufacturers and distributors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of proficiency in problem solving and issue resolution using G8D, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, etc.
- Ability to travel to contract manufacturing partners as needed.
- Prove record of driving multiple aspects of the product operations process in parallel. Emporia is a startup, so this role requires you to “wear many hats”

Job Description
As a fulfillment associate for Emporia Energy, you will be responsible for offloading stock deliveries, processing work orders, locating merchandise, and packaging orders for shipment. You will also be required to operate warehouse machinery including forklifts and pallet jacks.
To ensure success as a fulfillment associate, you should have a good understanding of warehousing procedures, a good eye for detail, and the ability to lift heavy objects. Ultimately, a top-class fulfillment associate processes order quickly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Offloading delivery trucks transporting merchandise into the warehouse.
